What is Construction Solution in Buildots?

Our group is a prominent professional arm within our Operations department, responsible for creating the framework of the Digital Twin for our clients’ construction projects. It involves integrating our clients’ models, schedule and construction insights, with our proven construction management methodologies, into an accurate digital representation of the project.

The group consists of highly skilled construction industry professionals combining extensive hands-on experience in their regional markets with strong expertise in the Buildots platform. With full lifecycle ownership of projects from initial setup through ongoing maintenance.

Through direct client engagement and close collaboration with Customer Success, they connect on-site realities with product capabilities, ensuring the system delivers real value throughout the project lifecycle.

With a regional structure, the regional teams making up the Construction Solution group provide global coverage, strategically aligning tools and methods to address unique regional requirements and leverage local market expertise.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an inspiring leader with a solid background in construction, ready to bring their expertise into a tech-forward fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to lead a skilled team, drive innovation, and apply your on-site knowledge to shape how construction projects are delivered using technology.

What you'll do:

  • Regional Construction Solution Management: Oversee and ensure effective setup and maintenance of all construction projects in our platform, within your region. Own regional escalations, ensuring timely resolution by clearly communicating and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing regional Solution team, ensuring effective onboarding, growth, and optimal team performance.
  • Active Role in Group Leadership : As a key member of the Solution Group's global leadership, work closely with the Group Lead and fellow Regional Leads to drive strategy, alignment, and collaboration across regions.
  • Internal Stakeholder Relationships: Act as a primary point of contact and partner for Account Managers (AMs), Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and Project Managers (PMs) ensuring smooth coordination and alignment across teams..
  • Design & Quality: Ensure regional projects adhere to design guidelines and global quality standards, addressing any deviations or issues.
  • Process Optimization & Scalability: Contribute to the definition, optimization, and implementation of Solution Group processes, tools, and methodologies for regional efficiency.
  • Regional Expertise & Contribution: Advocate for regional needs and provide insights on market characteristics to broader company strategies and product development.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on regional performance metrics, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement to meet targets.
  • Hands On Experience: Success requires a deep understanding of the team's day-to-day work. You will be fully trained in the hands-on professional tasks to have the ability to independently design and implement the Buildots solution, to enable you to guide, coach, troubleshoot effectively and provide necessary support and coverage for your team.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be located in Eastern Time Zone.
  • 8+ years of proven operational experience in construction projects.
  • 3+ years proven previous experience in a leadership role in the construction industry / Contech.
  • Engineering / Construction management (or equivalent) degree.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of translating complex issues to different audiences.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrated capacity for effective cross-functional collaboration and adeptness at managing relationships with both internal teams and external clients/stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems effectively and manage priorities across multiple projects.
  • Tech savvy, proficient in computer applications, MS Office and G Suite.
  • Strong working knowledge of 3D software and BIM environments (experience with Navisworks Manage- an advantage).
  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and installations.
