About The Role:

As the Regional Director for France, Belgium, and Switzerland, you are the strategic lead and primary representative for Buildots in these key markets. This is a multidisciplinary leadership role that goes beyond traditional sales management. You will own the holistic strategy for the region, acting as the primary driver for market penetration, brand positioning, and regional success.

In this matrix-leadership capacity, you will directly lead the regional Sales team while maintaining dotted-line strategic oversight of all other regional functions. You will ensure that Sales Development, Technical Teams (Solutions/Pre-sales), Customer Success, Account Management, and Marketing are all synchronized to deliver a cohesive Buildots experience for the local market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Regional Strategy & Execution: Define the "master plan" for France, Belgium, and Switzerland. Identify market-specific nuances and regulatory requirements to position Buildots as the regional standard.
  • Matrix Leadership & Orchestration: Act as the regional "anchor" for all functions. You will provide strategic direction and dotted-line management to Sales Development (BDRs) and Technical/Solutions teams, as well as Customer Success, Account Management, and Marketing, ensuring complete alignment with regional revenue and retention goals.
  • Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive the regional revenue engine. Mentor a team of Account Executives and personally lead the engagement with Tier-1 General Contractors, Asset Owners, and Mega-Project teams across the territory.
  • Commercial Accountability: Own the region's commercial performance. You are responsible for regional revenue health, resource allocation strategy, and ensuring the region meets its growth targets efficiently.
  • Market Ambassadorship: Be the primary spokesperson for Buildots in the region. Collaborate with Marketing to tailor campaigns for the market and represent the company at executive-level industry forums.
  • Executive Sponsorship: Serve as the senior point of contact for our most strategic regional clients, ensuring that Buildots' value is realized from the job site to the C-suite.

What You Bring (Requirements):

  • Strategic Leadership: 5+ years of experience in high-growth technology (SaaS) or Construction leadership, with a proven track record of running a territory or a multi-functional business unit.
  • Matrix Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams indirectly. You excel at aligning Sales Development, Technical, and Marketing teams toward a single regional goal without being their direct HR manager.
  • Construction/PropTech Depth: Deep familiarity with the Western European construction landscape (specifically France, Belgium, and Switzerland). You deeply understand the pains and procurement cycles of the construction giants in those markets.
  • French and English: Bilingual or professional fluency in French and English is mandatory. Understanding regional cultural nuances is essential for success in this role.
  • Enterprise Deal Experience: A history of securing six- and seven-figure deals, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder procurement cycles.
  • Cultural Fit: Resilience, high emotional intelligence, and the "good vibes" and sense of humor required to lead a distributed, high-performing team.
