What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in managing performance of third party administrators on Next WC claims, including holding them accountable to defined service level agreements
  • Assist in the supervision of claim handling for TPA adjusters and work with their management to get proper claims outcomes
  • Manage correspondence from internal company to TPA
  • Participate and organize roundtable discussions as needed to review specific files and/or general themes with TPA
  • Report large loss notifications to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and run internal loss reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting from TPAs on a monthly basis
  • Research and respond to general requests and inquiries from internal stakeholders, TPAs, agents & insureds about processes and policy information within the WC LOB, within required turnaround times
  • Assist with the selection of legal, key medical personnel, and other experts as directed by the WC Lead
  • As needed, perform WC adjusting duties while assisting to build in-house claim operation

What We Need:

  • 2-5 years of experience with Worker compensation claims
  • Experience working with TPA’s and large accounts
  • Knowledge of coverage, liability, and claims handling procedures
  • Candidates must have, or be able to promptly obtain a Texas Independent Adjuster License
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible to participate in our equity incentive program and will also receive our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position:
$54,000$70,000 USD
