About Port

At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a rapid hypergrowth phase with strong enterprise momentum.

We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents. By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability. As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.

About Your Day-to-Day:

As the Head of Data & Information Systems, you will play a meaningful role in shaping how Port operates and scales.

You will own Port’s internal systems ecosystem end-to-end — including ERP, CRM, BI, financial systems, HR systems, and integrations - ensuring data accuracy, operational reliability, and cross-functional alignment.

You will work closely with Finance, Revenue, HR, Product, and Leadership to transform fragmented processes into a structured, automated, and scalable information infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Systems Ownership: Define and execute Port's comprehensive Information Systems strategy, encompassing ERP, CRM, BI, and all critical business applications.
  • System Architecture & Optimization: Lead the architecture, implementation, and continuous optimization of core platforms, including Salesforce, NetSuite, HiBob, and various BI tools.
  • Data & Process Automation: Transform fragmented, manual business workflows into structured, automated, and scalable processes.
  • Data Governance & Accuracy: Establish robust data governance standards, enforce data accuracy, and ensure consistent KPI alignment across all departments.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership:
  • Finance: Collaborate on maintaining ERP integrity and accurate financial reporting.
  • GTM Teams: Partner on CRM structure, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and improving pipeline visibility.
  • HR: Work on people systems, supporting accurate headcount tracking, and managing organizational data.
  • Execution and Scalability: Drive high-quality execution, effectively balancing speed, control, and long-term scalability.
  • Management & Budget: Oversee system budgets, tool selection, and vendor relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a dedicated Information Systems/BI team over time.

How Success Will Look Like:

Success in this role involves bringing structure, clarity, and dependability to Port’s internal systems. In the first few months, you are expected to: Take full ownership of CRM, BI, Data, later ERP, and more core business systems; Map current processes and identify inefficiencies or gaps in integration; Improve data accuracy and reporting consistency across Finance and Revenue; Reduce manual tasks through automation and enhanced system setup; Deliver executive dashboards with clear KPI alignment; Establish governance standards for data ownership and system modifications; and Build strong, trust-based relationships with cross-functional leaders.
