About Remedio
Remedio is transforming how organizations reduce cyber and AI risk. While most security tools focus on finding problems, Remedio fixes them automatically and at scale.
Our Autonomous Remediation Platform helps enterprises safely eliminate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, patching gaps, compliance issues, application risks, and AI risk
across their environments, using dependency awareness, pre-execution validation, automated remediation, and instant rollback. Founded in 2019, Remedio was
bootstrapped and profitable before raising a $65M Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Today, more than 300 enterprise organizations trust Remedio to protect over
3M devices worldwide, including Amazon, Colgate-Palmolive, Kraft Heinz, and Coca-Cola. As we continue growing our platform and global business, we’re looking for
exceptional people who want to take ownership, solve meaningful challenges, and help shape what comes next.
The Role
The Sensor team builds software that runs across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, scanning for misconfigurations and vulnerabilities and enabling Remedio’s
customers to automatically fix the risks found. It powers capabilities across remediation, patching, application control, security, system configuration, networking, and more,
with new capabilities added frequently as new cyber and AI risks emerge. Some areas require low-level systems work, especially where endpoint safety and reliability matter.
We’re looking for a hands-on Software Team Leader to lead one of the most critical engineering areas at Remedio. You’ll own both the team and the technical direction, shape
architecture, stay close to the code, and drive new capabilities from research and design through production. This is not a role where management means stepping away
from engineering. You’ll lead design and code reviews, solve complex system-level challenges, help the team make strong technical decisions, and work with others to
troubleshoot real customer problems in production. Because the Sensor is evolving quickly, the team is not limited to one OS, module, or use case. You’ll have real influence
over what we build next, how the architecture evolves, and how the team itself grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of highly technical engineers
- Own architecture and technical direction across significant Sensor areas
- Stay hands-on in research, design, implementation, debugging, and code reviews
- Drive new cross-platform capabilities across Windows, macOS, and Linux from idea to production
- Push new capabilities through OTA and lead troubleshooting of real customer issues in production
- Shape priorities and long-term technical decisions together with Product, Research, Security, and Engineering
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building complex software in systems, infrastructure, backend, endpoint, or similar environments
- Proven experience leading engineers and owning both people and technical outcomes
- Strong software engineering and architecture skills, with the ability to make and drive complex technical decisions
- Experience prioritizing technical work, creating clarity for a team, and driving projects through delivery
- Experience working close to operating systems or system internals
- Strong coding and debugging skills in Go, C++, Rust, or similar languages
- Ability to mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and take responsibility for the quality and execution of the team
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, with deeper knowledge in at least one.
Strong advantages: deep Windows knowledge, low-level systems experience, endpoint or agent-based products, cybersecurity or security infrastructure, and cross-platform development.
