We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager. The Security Operations Manager will design, implement, and manage our security operations. The ideal candidate will have a great mix of hard and soft skills, be exceptional at collaboration, and have broad experience and multiple levels of deep understanding of the various security disciplines such as engineering, operations, risk and governance, and overall management.

Responsibilities

  • You will represent the CISO and security department in Tel Aviv, Israel, coordinating security operations and activities and working with other business leaders and teams to implement and enhance the overall security program and posture
  • You will supervise various projects and initiatives and help develop a strategy and approach for Silverfort to enhance and augment its security operations center and monitoring capabilities. You will oversee Threat Detection, Security Monitoring, Analytics, and Incident Response and help design, implement, and manage security processes, including security monitoring, threat intelligence, and incident response playbooks
  • You will aid the CISO in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security best practices, and identify and mitigate security risks. You will also perform governance, risk, and compliance functions on behalf of the CISO and liaison with local external audit teams. Additionally, you will aid the CISO in overall risk management functions, including third-party and vendor risks, and client diligence requirements and responses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and executive leadership, to ensure security operations are aligned with business objectives. Culture is very important at Silverfort and in this, you will be a champion for promoting and building collaborative work environments between security and other teams
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees to promote a culture of security
  • Continuously evaluate and improve security operations, including processes, tools, and technologies
  • Coordinate, manage, and report on the status of deliverables between teams, particularly work sponsored by the security team but performed in other teams such as IT, DevOps, R&D, etc.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring
  • Strong project and task management skills. The goal is to get things done, as promised
  • Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
  • Excellent English – both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Alignment with Silverfort's values, including a passion for security, a customer-centric approach, and a commitment to innovation and excellence
  • Strong technical acumen in identity security and cloud security experience working in and securing AWS and Azure. Also, good working knowledge of endpoint, network, and cloud security

Nice to Have:

  • DevOps Experience: Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. Scripting is also highly recommended, such as PowerShell, Ant, Python, Javascript, Curl, etc.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Cortex, Prisma Access, and Prisma Cloud
