About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp and experienced Automation Engineer to take full ownership of test coverage for large-scale, production-grade AI systems.

This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable with complexity, confident in JavaScript/TypeScript, and excited to shape how we think about quality. You’ll be working directly on real customer-facing products, not internal tools or mock environments.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain automated end-to-end tests for complex, high-scale products
  
  
• Own test strategy across UI and API layers
  
  
• Use modern tools like Playwright, Cypress, and others to build reliable test flows
  
  
• Prepare and manage test data using SQL
  
  
• Debug complex issues across systems, environments, and services
  
  
• Collaborate closely with engineers to improve CI/CD and release confidence
  
  
• Help define what “quality” means in a fast-paced AI product team
  
  

Must-Haves

• 3–4 years of experience in automation development
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
  
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
  
  
• Solid understanding of UI and API testing
  
  
• Ability to work with SQL databases for test data setup
  
  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for complex web applications
  
  
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and attention to detail
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with visual regression tools like Percy or Applitools
  
  
• Experience setting up Docker containers for test environments
  
  
• Exposure to performance testing tools or methodologies
  
  
• Background in software development
