Business analysts at Waltz are instrumental in driving deal closures and helping the company reach its goals. The team brings strong technical expertise and leverages automation to handle high-volume operations efficiently. Because of their involvement across departments, analysts have a deep understanding of many company workflows - some they own directly, and others they support. We are constantly mapping these processes and collaborating with engineering to streamline and automate them
Responsibilities:
- Analyze reports and deal data to ensure profitability and strategic alignment.
- Act as a bridge between business teams and technical requirements for platform development.
- Own and optimize key operational procedures that directly impact deal closings.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities in existing and proposed processes, and outline their business impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct market research to identify vendors and services that support operational goals.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills—you're driven by data and understand how to turn it into value.
- Detail-oriented, able to handle manual tasks and find smart ways to automate them
- Exceptional English communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A startup-ready mindset: fast, adaptable, resourceful, and proactive.
- 2+ years of proven experience in analytical roles—military intelligence, consulting, product ops, or startup environments are all relevant.
Big Plus / Advantages
- Comfortable using tech and AI tools to drive operational efficiency.
- With hands-on experience with platforms like Monday.com, Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools, you can connect systems and eliminate manual work.
- Data analytics tool: Google Sheets, SQL
- Familiarity with No code solutions
