Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Survey Research Analysis Team Lead to join our growing team. Zencity’s surveys help state governments, local governments, and law enforcement agencies understand and respond to the needs of their residents. Our research enables clients to effectively tackle many of their most critical challenges in areas such as infrastructure spending, economic development, and police transparency. With the insights from these surveys, leaders are able to make more informed decisions and deliver better results for their communities.

The survey research team creates customized survey solutions for our clients, from project planning and questionnaire design through data analysis and reporting. As a Survey Research Team Lead, you will lead a team of four survey research analysts (two based in Israel and two on the US East Coast), providing professional day-to-day support, driving the development of our survey research practice, and ensuring top-tier service delivery across projects. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Customer Success, Product, and R&D, and report directly to the Director of Professional Services. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of survey research analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high standard of work.
  • Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of surveys to support key company objectives.
  • Collaborate across teams (including Customer Success, Product, and R&D) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools (Python, R) to streamline and enhance data analysis.
  • Develop processes and strategies to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and impact of survey operations and to scale the team’s workflows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Write and customize questionnaires to measure residents’ beliefs, opinions, attitudes, and behaviors on local and national issues
  • Process and analyze survey results to inform clients’ decisions
  • Create and deliver clients’ reports, presenting survey findings and recommendations

Requirements

  • Native English level
  • 2-4 years of experience working with surveys, including designing and analyzing survey data.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in people management
  • Experience presenting findings to senior-level stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data using software such as Python
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced working environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated team player who can inspire team members
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills including high attention to detail, alongside strategic

Preferred:

  • Public policy and government experience
  • Working experience with global teams
  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Social Sciences, Statistics, Data Science, Market Research) preferred.
