What is the Role?

As Account Executive at Zencity , you will lead Zencity’s efforts to acquire new customers in the GovTech sector, leveraging industry knowledge, outbound strategies, and a consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Use MEDDICC/MEDDPICC frameworks to qualify and manage opportunities effectively
  • Attend conferences, travel to meet prospects, and deliver impactful in-person presentations and product demonstrations
  • Build a deep understanding of prospects’ needs and present tailored solutions
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through negotiation and close
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by consistently securing new business contracts
  • Proactively generate leads through outbound outreach and build a robust pipeline if needed

Industry Expertise:

  • Understand the unique challenges and needs of government customers, such as city managers, police chiefs, and county officials
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to provide relevant insights during sales conversations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in managing complex enterprise sales processes within a tech environment
  • Proficiency with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC frameworks is required
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively for prospect meetings and industry events
  • Familiarity with Sales/CRM tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Hubspot is a must
  • Demonstrated ability and confidence in driving proactive outbound initiatives and lead generation
  • Expertise in leading and navigating complex sales processes efficiently
